3 of the coolest window seats you can find in Mumbai restaurants

We’re looking beyond the better known sea-facing lounges of Taj Hotel and all the hangouts in Juhu. These are quiet (or not so quiet) spots with a great view!
Another cool thing about these restaurants – not too heavy on the pocket.
1 – Pizza By the Bay
Not just because they are at Marine Drive, where you catch glimpses of the Arabian Sea, but all the buzz at Nariman Point too. Rainy days make them especially cool!
Watch this video… did you see the torrential Mumbai rains lashing across? We got soaked running to the taxi later. Yes, we waited, but the rains wouldn’t just stop!
2 – LPQ at Maker Maxity, Bandra Kurla Complex
Ok i admit i can’t have enough of gloating over how much i like Bandra Kurla Complex in general. But LPQ is another story. The well-kept gardens and the all-glass facade. Ideal for a refreshing morning breakfast or coffee break from office! Le Pain Quotidien, name of the Belgian bakery-restaurant chain, translates into French for “The Daily Bread”. You’ll like their break baskets and authentic balsamic vinegar+Olive oil too.

3 – LPQ (again!) at Hiranandani Gardens, Powai
It’s probably the home-like feel of LPQ, with those softwood interiors, which makes for compelling repeat visits. And i quite like the food too.
The LPQ at Rodas Hotel in Powai has floor-to-roof high arched windows. You can sit by the window for hours, looking at the Galleria Market or the aesthetically inclined buildings of Hiranandani 🙂

Bonus – The Marina Upper Deck in Colaba has some excellent views of the Gateway area. For a feel of the race course in Mahalaxmi you could try Gallops. I haven’t been here, but the photos do speak a lot.
Tell me which are the best places you like in Mumbai for enjoying great views – they will land on my bucket list!
