Review of Fort, Mumbai, India – 88.10%

A quaint office area in Mumbai, where BSE and Dalal Street coexist with narrow lanes and time-tested structures which house all types of offices from CAs, Law firms, TATAs (Bombay House) to global banks, brokerage houses, publishers and branded retail.

Review:

“This is a quaint office area in Mumbai, where BSE and Dalal Street coexist with narrow lanes and time-tested structures which house all types of offices from CAs, Law firms, TATAs (Bombay House) to global banks, brokerage houses, publishers and branded retail. Easily reachable from CST and Churchgate local stations, besides several bus stops.

Fort is also a cultural hub given the Kala Ghoda festival that is held here. It is a treasure trove of culinary variety, right from Khyber, Trishna, Burma Burma & Cafe Military, to Theobroma, NutCracker and La Folie. Near Hornimann Circle, you can find the Star Bucks flagship store. Stroll over to Flora Fountain for a break or grab a chai and bun maska at Yazdani.

I’ve been here on several occasions alone, with friends, and on recommendation from old-time school buddies too! The one drawback is that the place is unusually quiet on weekends. Even on weekdays after 7, when the offices shut, you are mostly on your own, in the company of some very charming restaurants and bakeries to look out for!”
