Review of Mandothi Village:
“In Mandothi, we grow basmati rice also. Wheat and sarso (mustard) in winters.
Sugarcane is also cultivated in our farms for diversification. It takes a long time, about 7-8 months to grow. Jaggery is made at home in villages. We have many sugar mills in Rohtak too.
Bahadurgarh is close by. There is a Medical college in Rohtak. We also have our own primary health centre.
There are lots of footwear factories in and around Bahadurgarh. Puma, Adidas Aqualite. Due to factories and manufacturing hub, our youngsters dont have to go outside the village to search for jobs.
In terms of education too, our village is quite ahead. There is PDM college, Delhi Public School where kids can go to study.
Ground water is sweet and potable. We also have cattle, buffalo and cows in village. We can easily make ghee at home. Sweets, dahi n lassi… all sorts of milk products“
