Review:
“A model sustainable living residential neighbourhood in Freiburg im Bresgau, Germany. Freiburg is one of the greenest cities in the world – it produces surplus solar energy that is sent back to the grid. At Vauban one can see active management of waste, passive design features and almost no cars. The whole district has a very organic look! Among general stores, mostly REWE and Aldi were there, but closed on Sundays. Found a nice breakfast place though”
